Our customer is a leader in the performance based internet marketing segment that links marketers and advertisers with consumers. On a pay-for-performance basis, they deliver millions of leads and purchase billions of impressions via customer leads and sales. The market position of the customer has significantly increased in a short time through the launch of multiple web sites targeting consumers. One site has over 10 million registered users with the largest content database of its segment. The data collected by the customer is aligned directly to their subscribers to identify advertising prospects.

To be the leader in this market segment and remain cost competitive it is essential to implement new customer service subscribers to the service in a near real time environment. Service enhancements to the product set are critical to maintain a competitive and compelling service offering.

The Challenge

Our client was struggling to meet their goals of maximizing the online business revenue, optimizing the number of leads generated, and delivering dynamic quality through automation of their processes. To accomplish this goal, it is necessary to accelerate the development cycle for web pages that are critical elements for acquiring data from customer prospects. Significant emphasis is placed on the frequency of contact to the registered users, channeled through an extensive email messaging function. The business and technical challenge is to establish a rules-based on an automated capability that would display offers to web site visitors based on their user profile.

Results

E5 Systems implemented a solution using off-shore resources working directly with the customer team in all phases of the development lifecycle. Using our IT expertise, an innovative direction in the technical architecture was recommended and implemented. The result was a significant reduction in the level of effort necessary to modify applications for new customers and new product functionality. The client leveraged the E5 Systems blended resource teams experience beginning with requirements definition and continuing through post-implementation support, resulting in timely accomplishment of project technical tasks with high quality results. The technical platform supported is Microsoft ASP, COM, MS SQL Server with .NET, C# and MS SQL.

Through the knowledge gained by E5 Systems participation in all phases of the project life cycle the result to the customer is a lower cost of development and extremely effective and agile new customer implementation capability. E5 Systems is involved in the next generation of products this customer is designing to maintain their lead in the market.
